Description

A creamy soup version of classic lasagna with Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot; sautรฉ until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil.
  4. Add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; serve hot.
