Description

Delicious almond-flavored tartlets made with a buttery crust and almond filling, perfect for a French dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • Almond filling: 1 cup ground almonds
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tartlet pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, granulated sugar, and almond extract until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into the tartlet pan to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine ground almonds, eggs, powdered sugar, and salt to make the filling.
  5. Pour the filling into the crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
