- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Almond filling: 1 cup ground almonds
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tartlet pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, granulated sugar, and almond extract until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the tartlet pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, combine ground almonds, eggs, powdered sugar, and salt to make the filling.
- Pour the filling into the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
