Description

A delectable twist on the classic lasagna featuring the rich flavors of bacon and Parmesan.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
  3. In a large pot, boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer cooked noodles, ricotta mixture, bacon, and marinara sauce in the dish. Repeat layers, ending with noodles and sauce.
  7. Top the lasagna with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  10. Let the lasagna sit for 5 minutes before serving.
