Description

A delicious appetizer featuring juicy shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon, cooked to perfection in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic seafood favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Wrap each shrimp with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Place the wrapped shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until bacon is crispy and shrimp is pink and opaque.
  6. Remove from air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush with barbecue sauce before cooking. Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
