For the Crust:

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Place cod fillets in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add minced garlic, lemon juice, and zest. Pour the sauce over the cod.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
