For the Crust:
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 box instant banana pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups cold milk
- 2 bananas, sliced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 325ยฐF (163ยฐC). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix crushed vanilla wafers with melted butter, press into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla extract. Mix in sour cream until fully combined.
- Pour cheesecake batter over crust. Bake for 30 minutes, or until set. Allow to cool completely.
- Whisk banana pudding mix with cold milk in a medium bowl until thickened. Layer over cheesecake along with banana slices.
- Chill the entire cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
