- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Optional: Green onions, sesame seeds for garnish
- Rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture and shake off excess.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar to make the sauce.
- Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, add more sriracha. Ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
