Description

A spicy, creamy chicken bowl with tender chicken pieces tossed in a sweet and tangy sauce, served over rice or noodles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Optional: Green onions, sesame seeds for garnish
  • Rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture and shake off excess.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar to make the sauce.
  5. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, add more sriracha. Ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
