Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and smoked paprika.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove salmon from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill or bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
