For the Crust:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips with a wooden spoon.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
