- 24 large white mushrooms
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Remove stems from mushrooms and set caps aside.
- Chop the stems finely.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan, mozzarella, green onions, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stir in the chopped mushroom stems.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the tops.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
For extra crispiness, toast the breadcrumbs lightly before sprinkling. These can be made ahead and refrigerated until ready to bake.
