For the Crust:

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded turkey, cranberries, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, melted butter, and beaten egg until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve warm as a festive side dish.
