For the Crust:

  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken slices and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sautรฉ for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the pasta. Cover the skillet and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with red pepper flakes if desired and serve hot.
