- 4 cups chicken broth

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine potatoes, onion, celery, carrots, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
- Add the milk mixture to the potato mixture and stir to combine.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, bacon, and sour cream until melted and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
