- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Toss the shrimp in the flour mixture until coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix hot sauce and honey.
- Toss the fried shrimp in the hot honey mixture until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra heat, add more hot sauce. Pair with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
