Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and salt, then gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb and fill with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
