For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 burger buns
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until onions are caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Grill or pan-fry the turkey patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
- Toast the burger buns lightly. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and topping with balsamic onions.
