For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until onions are caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Grill or pan-fry the turkey patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and topping with balsamic onions.
