Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sliced potatoes, heavy cream, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover until melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika if desired. Serve hot.
