Description

A decadent fusion of rich chocolate cheesecake and the classic black forest flavors with a cherry topping.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 750g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325ยฐF (160ยฐC). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted chocolate. Beat until well combined.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are firm. Let it cool completely in the pan.
  5. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight. Top with the cherry pie filling before serving.
