- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with blackening seasoning on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through. Set aside.
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the sauce along with the pasta. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
This dish is spicy; adjust cayenne pepper to your preference. Pairs well with garlic bread.
