Description

A delightful dessert featuring light sponge cakes filled with creamy custard and topped with rich chocolate glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and sugar. Add eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into muffin tin and bake for 15-20 minutes. Let cool.
  4. For the custard, bring heavy cream to a simmer. Pour over chocolate chips and stir until melted.
  5. Cut cakes in half, fill with custard, and pour remaining chocolate glaze on top.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
