Description

This casserole combines broccoli, rice, cheese, and chicken for a hearty and comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked rice, shredded chicken, and broccoli florets.
  3. In another bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the rice mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes. This recipe can be made ahead and refrigerated.
