Description

Decadent brownie bombs filled with a creamy surprise, perfect for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until smooth.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Allow the brownie bombs to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a gooey center, insert a piece of chocolate or caramel before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
