Description

A flavorful side dish featuring Brussels sprouts glazed with a sweet and tangy cranberry-orange sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, and honey. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  3. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until sprouts are tender and slightly charred.
  5. Remove from oven and toss with the cranberry-orange glaze.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute honey with maple syrup.
