A refreshing summer appetizer featuring creamy burrata on toasted bread with fresh tomatoes and basil.

- 4 slices of crusty bread
- 1 large ball of burrata cheese
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and toast the bread slices for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Once the bread is toasted, rub each slice with a garlic clove if desired.
- Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place on top of the toasted bread slices.
- Spoon the tomato mixture over the burrata and serve immediately.
Notes
For the best flavor, use ripe, in-season tomatoes and high-quality burrata.
