- 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the butter sauce over them.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality steaks and fresh shrimp. Pair with a side of steamed vegetables or mashed potatoes.
