Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • For Frosting:
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in butterscotch chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely.
