Crispy and juicy buttermilk fried chicken perfect for a family dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat each piece in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
