Description

This indulgent pasta dish features tender chicken tortellini smothered in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce with a kick of Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Cook tortellini according to package instructions and drain.
  6. Add sliced chicken and tortellini to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the Cajun seasoning. Pairs well with garlic bread.
