Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, season the steak strips and shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
- Reduce heat to medium. Melt the butter in the skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and has thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta, steak, and shrimp back to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
