Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring tender steak and succulent shrimp, all tossed in a homemade Alfredo sauce with a kick of Cajun seasoning.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, season the steak strips and shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Melt the butter in the skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and has thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add the cooked pasta, steak, and shrimp back to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
