Description

A festive holiday appetizer with puff pastry shaped like a Christmas tree, filled with melted brie, sliced apples, and drizzled caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into a tree shape using a template.
  3. Arrange the brie slices and apple slices on the pastry, leaving space for folding.
  4. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Fold the edges to create the tree outline and brush with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a crispier tart, bake an additional 5 minutes; store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
