Ingredients

  • 2 ripe pears, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add pear slices and brown sugar, cooking until pears are caramelized, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, caramelized pears, blue cheese, and walnuts.
  4. Whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper for the dressing.
