Description

These cheeseburger pretzel bombs are a fun twist on a classic burger, wrapped in soft pretzel dough for a delicious snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 package refrigerated pretzel dough
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
  • Sesame seeds for topping
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to the beef; stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese.
  5. Roll out pretzel dough and cut into squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each square.
  7. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal, forming balls.
  8. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
