Description

A creamy pasta dish featuring beef, linguine, and a garlic provolone sauce for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and shredded provolone cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Ensure pasta is not overcooked to maintain texture.
