- For the Chicken:
- 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Sauce:
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- For the Pasta:
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 4: Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Step 5: Add the cooked chicken, pasta, spinach, and Italian seasoning to the sauce. Toss to combine and heat through.
- Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
