These delicious cheesy ground beef quesadillas are quick to prepare and packed with flavor, making them an ideal family dinner option.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Sour cream and salsa for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in half of the shredded cheese.
- Place a tortilla in a clean skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle with some cheese, then add beef mixture, more cheese, and top with another tortilla.
- Cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Cut into wedges and serve with sour cream and salsa.
