Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix soups, sour cream, and seasonings in a bowl.
  4. Combine beef, rice, onions, peppers, and soup mixture in a large bowl.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with cheeses.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until rice is tender.

Notes

This casserole can be assembled ahead and baked later. Ensure rice is cooked through.
