- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Mix soups, sour cream, and seasonings in a bowl.
- Combine beef, rice, onions, peppers, and soup mixture in a large bowl.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Top with cheeses.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until rice is tender.
Notes
This casserole can be assembled ahead and baked later. Ensure rice is cooked through.
