Description

A hearty and comforting soup featuring ground beef, potatoes, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes and beef broth; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Add the milk and shredded cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.

Notes

For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes before adding the cheese.
