Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound beef chops, trimmed and cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sliced potatoes with milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. In a skillet, brown the beef chops with chopped onion and garlic until cooked through.
  4. Layer the potatoes in a greased baking dish, then add the beef mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes
