Description
Miniature cherry pies made with flaky crust and sweet cherry filling.
Ingredients

- Crust:
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- Filling:
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For Topping:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut into circles using a cookie cutter.
- In a bowl, mix cherry pie filling with cornstarch and vanilla.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each crust circle.
- Fold the edges to form bites and brush with beaten egg.
- Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Notes
These bites are best served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
