Description

A classic homemade cherry pie with a buttery crust and sweet cherry filling.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen pitted cherries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  3. Transfer the cherry mixture into a pie crust, cover with another crust, seal edges, and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
