- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
