Description

Tender chicken meatballs made with ricotta cheese for a juicy texture, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite sauce.

Notes

For a lighter version, bake the meatballs without frying first. Pairs well with marinara sauce and pasta.
