- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
Notes
For a lighter version, bake the meatballs without frying first. Pairs well with marinara sauce and pasta.
