Description

A quick and easy Chinese-style stir-fry featuring savory ground beef mixed with crisp cabbage, onions, and a flavorful sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger; cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add cabbage and cook until it begins to soften, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; stir to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper; cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Adjust soy sauce for desired saltiness. Vegetarians can substitute ground beef with tofu or meat alternatives.
