For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, and salt to the sugar mixture. Stir until a dough forms, then fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pie pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let the crust cool completely before using it as a base for your favorite pie or cheesecake filling.
