Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool completely.
- Melt chocolate chips with milk in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Dip cooled cookies halfway into the melted chocolate and place on wax paper to set.
Notes
For best results, use ripe strawberries and store cookies in an airtight container.
