Description

A decadent dessert combining rich chocolate and fresh raspberries in a creamy cheesecake base.


Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Fold in melted chocolate and raspberries.
  6. Pour filling over crust and bake for 55-60 minutes.
  7. Cool in oven with door ajar, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Notes

For best results, use fresh raspberries and chill overnight.
