Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake featuring swirls of chocolate and fresh strawberries, perfect for a luxurious dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 1/4 cups sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Divide the batter into two bowls. Stir melted chocolate into one bowl and strawberry puree into the other. Add food coloring to the strawberry batter if desired.
  5. Pour the batters alternately into the crust and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set. Cool in the oven with the door ajar, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberries.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate and fresh strawberries. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
