For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup red and green M&M’s
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
