Description

A festive twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie, made with red and green M&M’s for a cheerful holiday treat.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup red and green M&M’s

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
  5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
