Description

A sweet and addictive holiday treat made with crackers, toffee, and chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sleeve of saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Arrange crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil for 3 minutes, then pour over crackers and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and let melt.
  7. Spread chocolate evenly and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  8. Cool completely and break into pieces.
